Read the complexity,
deliver the obvious move.

Four dimensions of analysis, four steps of reasoning, one performance path. The Nobrainer methodology turns the mass of variables that shape your market into a small set of priority leverage points, with the rigour of a strategy firm.

"We identify the leverage variables that unlock an organization's potential."

Complexity has become the default condition of every market.

A business decision in 2026 mobilizes more variables than at any point in recent history: accelerating regulation, AI reshaping value chains, fragmented media, ESG expectations now enforceable, capital that is scarcer and more disciplined. Most organizations absorb that density of variables instead of arbitrating them. Our consulting work serves exactly that transition: turning a saturated environment into two or three obvious decisions.

Four dimensions structure the environment of any organization.

The global environment, the market, the peripheral network of partners and the internal structure. Each dimension contains dozens of variables. Our framework makes them visible and arbitrable.

01

Global environment

Political, social, economic, ecological, technological and legal variables. Government stability, demographics, interest rates, energy transition, generative AI, Quebec Law 25 compliance.

02

Market

Consumer, competitor and category variables. Buyer behavior and expectations, competitive intensity, substitutes, pricing dynamics, elasticity, adoption curves.

03

Peripheral network

Variables tied to partners, key clients, suppliers and distributors. Bargaining power, dependencies, exclusivities, channel margins, intermediary quality.

04

Internal structure

Technology, marketing, logistics and human variables. Technology stack, brand equity, supply chain, proprietary data, skills, execution culture.

Not every variable is a lever.

An organization watches between 80 and 200 relevant variables depending on its sector. Our work consists in filtering that mass to isolate the six to nine leverage points that concentrate value creation over 18 to 36 months. Three filtering criteria guide the arbitration.

Observed variables 80 to 200 by sector Nobrainer filter Three arbitration criteria P&L IMPACT TEAM ACCESSIBILITY WINDOW OF ACTION Leverage points 6 to 9 priorities

P&L impact

A variable becomes a lever when its arbitration moves a revenue, margin or cost line by at least five points over 18 months. Without measurable financial impact, a variable stays a committee topic, never a lever.

Team accessibility

A lever must be actionable by the existing skills and resources of the organization, or by hires that do not break its structure. Theoretical levers no one can activate weaken the credibility of the plan.

Window of action

The market does not stand still. A priority lever must be activated in a window where competitors have not yet aligned. That timing discipline separates diagnosis from executable advisory work.

Four steps from diagnosis to obvious moves.

The Nobrainer methodology runs in four steps tied by a single objective: turn the mass of variables into a plan whose execution feels obvious. Each step produces a consulting-grade deliverable and feeds the next.

01

Map

How is the organization's environment evolving?

Exhaustive analysis of variables across the four dimensions. Detection of structuring dynamics, breaks under way and weak signals. Identification of variables that decline, plateau and accelerate.

Output Map of structuring variables by dimension, with impact and urgency scoring.
02

Position

What place should the organization occupy?

Definition of the strategic angle. Choice of defendable competitive territory, differentiating promise and priority audience. Stress-testing of the angle against the variables identified in step one.

Output Strategic platform: positioning, segmentation, value matrix by segment.
03

Prioritize levers

What trajectory leads to that position?

Filtering the observed variables down to six or nine leverage points. Application of the three criteria: P&L impact, team accessibility, window of action. Sequencing the levers into a performance path.

Output Prioritized lever map and 18 to 36 month trajectory with quarterly milestones.
04

Activate

How to answer the challenges that arise?

Action plans by lever, allocated to the three Nobrainer expertise hubs. Actions emerge from each lever as obvious next moves, executable by the teams and measurable on the dashboard.

Output Activation plans by lever, RACI, KPI, execution cadence and dashboard.

The performance path emerges from the levers, not from the intentions.

A performance trajectory is not an ideal chart drawn at the start of the year. It is the observable resultant of the sequenced activation of a few priority leverage points. Nobrainer's role is to draw that resultant ahead of time and make it operable.

Performance Time · 36 months Current trajectory LEVER 1 LEVER 2 LEVER 3 LEVER 4 Performance gap created by sequenced activation +170%

Inflection

Each lever creates a measurable inflection in the trajectory. The dashboard's role is to isolate each lever's contribution so the team can adjust along the way.

Sequencing

The order of activation matters as much as the choice of levers. A marketing lever activated before a product lever produces less effect than the same pair in the reverse order.

Gap created

The objective of a Nobrainer engagement is to widen the gap between your current trajectory and the activated trajectory. That gap is our only measure of value delivered.
